We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

Retention of Credit Card Data
Payment card industry (PCI) standards do not allow credit card numbers to be stored on our point-of-sale (POS) terminal or in our databases after a transaction. To be PCI compliant, La Vie Dansante Wines outsources our payment processing to a service provider who provides a “tokenization option.”  The service provider handles the issuance of the token value and bears the responsibility for keeping the cardholder data locked down.  Wine Club applications contain a place to enter Credit Card data for entry into our payment system.  Applications are immediately entered into our payment system and the physical application is shredded.  To avoid creating a physical copy or your credit card data you may elect to leave the credit card fields blank until the time of your first purchase when the data can be collected through our secure gateway.

We may use an outside shipping companies to fulfill orders.  These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.  In addition, we may share aggregated demographic data with our partner winemakers at Blended, a Winemaker’s Studio.  This data is not linked to any personal information than can identify any individual person.  You will not be added to any email list or newsletter for any party other than La Vie Dansante Wines without your specific request.
